The Choice of Ease: Embracing Guidance and Flow

It is always your choice—your free will and your allowance—as to what you want to receive. If you choose to rely on what you consider “on your own” effort, trying to do things through your own will, you can certainly do that. However, it pales in comparison to what can be achieved in partnership with your true higher self.

Like a child who is learning and wants to “do it themselves” without guidance, you may let them try, even though you want to help. Through their own efforts, they sometimes gain a sense of achievement and accomplishment. This can be useful when they are driven by their ego and motivated by personal will. You allow them to explore, but if they receive gentle guidance and are willing to learn—not necessarily through the mistakes of others, but from a different perspective—they would indeed benefit.

This is how it is with you as well. You are the child, muddling about and wanting to figure things out. It may seem noble to you, and they might even erect a statue in your honor for having done so. However, figuring things out while enjoying the process—without having to fall before rising, and without seeking attention for your struggles—is the way of ease, the way of flow. When you do this, you receive and achieve more completely, moving on to another task or level.

It’s your choice, and there is no right or wrong. It is always there when you are ready and willing—or not.
