The Journey Home: Embracing Life’s Experiences

Time is but an illusory layer or lens through which you view the layers of your life that you call reality. It seems to slow in your youth and drags on, making certain events or touchstones that you’ll refer to repeatedly as your body ages, with increased cellular activity. This same layer or lens of time makes the future’s revolutions around your internal galaxy seem to go faster.

Much like the spiral of a gum ball in a game, which begins at the topmost outer edge of a large funnel, the revolutions increase rapidly as they near the center of the vortex before popping out of the chute for you to enjoy. In this metaphor, you are the gum ball, and life is the vast spiral chute. You will always return home to where you came from, and the experiences while you’re incarnated are spiraling with increasing and more concentrated speed toward your return. You’re always seeking home, whether you understand that or not. Like a horse returning to its stable, the sense of home is always there once you head in that direction.

You will always go home, so why not explore, enjoy, and experience everything the human experience has to offer? Do so without fear, without hesitation, and without retribution. Even consequences are experiences, some desired and some not. Be, do, and have; try something new and move on down the buffet of life. There’s no need to return to the same dish that doesn’t please you when there is an array of beautiful choices to try. Have fun, take chances, and just enjoy. Trust and receive; believe it is all for you.
