The Power of Intention: Igniting Creation Through Emotion

Intention behind or held for any thought, word, or action colors the experience from its inception. Rather than going about any task or stepping into what you may consider your normal activities, think and then set the intention. This intention should not be tied to an outcome but rather to the feeling associated with what you are creating.

Creating may seem like a strong word when associated with what may feel normal to you, but it is what you are doing, whether you recognize it or not. Each step or delve into a situation or task is a creation in and of itself, regardless of whether you set about it with intention. It is akin to going fishing but taking only minimal supplies in your tackle box.

Setting the intention and feeling its full fruition will ensure an outcome that resonates at the same speed and velocity as the intention. It’s the boomerang effect. So prepare yourself completely with a full tackle box, so to speak, while feeling the way you want about any topic. Intentions are the complete force and makeup of what will occur.

Intentions are not the same as expectations, as expectations imply that the fish is already hanging on the wall, which may not be the actual outcome. Disappointment may ensue if specific expectations are set. Rather, feel the feelings—fullness, joy, elation, agitation, or fear—if you set about for that. Feel it in its entirety; you’re sure to feel more of the same with the impending results.

Feelings are amplified and expand, regardless of whether your thoughts, words, and actions try to oppose them. Feel fully about any topic or segment of activity as you desire and watch as the world unfolds around you. Your feelings, driven by intentions, are the key to your emotions. They are the ignition and the key, together, that spark the combustion of creation.
