Emotional Release: Finding Freedom in Expression

A bubbling up or welling up of a substance from beneath the surface may be noticed before the full geyser that is brewing is in view. The bubbling up represents your emotions that may be brewing just below the surface. When held at bay, under pressure—like holding a beach ball underwater—it will remain there until the smallest slip of the hand or force keeping it submerged is felt. The emotion, like the ball under pressure, can be held at bay, but it requires effort.

The air of discontent is what fills the ball. If the air had been released a little as it went, rather than building into a seemingly uncontrollable ball that requires most of your focused attention to hold it under the surface, it would dissipate and not cause any big stir. That is the way of emotions. If left to build, adding to an imaginary ball in the form of hidden frustrations or other undesired feelings, it takes up space within you—your physical body—until the final scratch on the surface provides the path of least resistance for the ball filled with all the frustration to breach the surface and come out into the open for all to see, feel, and experience.

Allowing all emotions to release and mingle in the air with other complementary emotions is essential. This release from your physical self allows you to examine your feelings as they are released. You will feel much better by practicing this, as all emotions are mixed with love and understanding when in full view rather than held with contempt, which can cause you physical pain due to the space they occupy within you.

Release with love all that bubbles up before the geyser erupts onto and into unknowing observers. You will experience consistent contentment, and all systems will flow within your being. Release and feel relief.
