Harnessing the Power of Heat: Conscious Control of Emotion and Momentum

Heat, when applied, is always an activator. Whether through friction, flame, or circumstances that raise the heat in your physical being, it activates. The activation will increase that which is already in process. If you are on the side of the scale of happiness and headed toward more of the same, the heat will increase momentum and tip the scale in the direction you are already leaning. The same is true if you are swinging toward that which is unwanted. The heat will cause ire or raise the emotions that are closest to the surface, bringing to a boiling point what is already lying just below.

Heat is a term for causing movement, momentum, and activation of that which is already in process. Apply it only when you want more of the same. There are methods to reverse or reduce the momentum of a subject or situation, such as taking a run to “cool off”. That actually raises the temperature of the body but removes the source of the flame from the heated situation. Determine the sources of heat for you and apply it only to areas that you want to bring to the surface or enflame. If feelings of love are simmering, then more attention that draws heat would be desirable. Conversely, if you are in an argument or disagreement with another, you would want to remove the heat.

Notice when you are physically and emotionally becoming heated. Feel it in your body and decide if it is something you want to bring to the surface or to a boil. It’s your choice. The directive is to play with fire, but in a conscious manner. You are always in control, and the awareness of that is your power.
